Brushes of Strength — New York Edition
An inspiring international art initiative by Dorothy's Hope Foundation using creativity, storytelling, and artistic expression as tools for healing, awareness, and empowerment.
Each piece in the exhibition carries a story — of diagnosis, of treatment, of survival. Through brush, canvas and colour, our survivors and supporters find a language for what words alone cannot always carry, turning lived experience into something the world can witness and hold.
Original artwork by breast cancer patients, survivors, and supporters will be showcased and auctioned — with all proceeds funding DHF's free screening programmes and patient support in Ghana and across Africa.
- Amplify the voices and stories of cancer survivors
- Promote art therapy as a healing and empowerment tool
- Bridge Africa and the diaspora through creativity
- Raise critical funds for breast cancer awareness and access
- Feature survivor stories and special artistic tributes
